TORI Global- An Office Move Case Study

Moving from serviced premises to their own offices for the first time, TORI Global required the installation of a complete infrastructure for IT and communications, ready to meet their global expansion plans.

The task

GMA were tasked with:

  1. Deploying 3CX IP telephony system
  2. Testing & training the users on it
  3. Relocating the technology infrastructure from the current to new offices
  4. Supporting the users onsite during the first few days of relocation

GMA were required to provide a cost-effective service despite the tight schedule and challenges that would invariably arise.

The new telephone system provided TORI staff the ability to work from home whilst also being able to link to their international offices. GMA also installed the 3CX mobile application for staff members’ iPhones so they had 24 hours, anywhere access to the telephone system and all its functions.

TORI’s intangible benefit was seamless integration of systems – including the linking of international offices with uniform technology, allowing centralised management without corresponding increases in support costs going forward.

TORI Global

TORI is a transformation business organisation for its clients. With offices in London, New York, Dubai, India and Singapore, it operates in the Financial Services sector and has been in the Sunday Times, Hiscox Tech Track top 100 for 2015 and 2016. TORI are a long-standing client and GMA have been supporting them since 2003. They have grown substantially from the initial 18 staff since then. TORI’s growth necessitated a move to larger offices with a need to accommodate 90 desks and several meeting rooms. 2016 marked a key change for TORI, in that the last office move was to new, leased offices for the first time and not to serviced offices as before. This required deployment of a complete technology infrastructure to sustain their business, including telephony. The proposed telephony solution was based on the provision of a 3CX based IP telephony system. This provided a powerful, cost effective solution even when compared with cloud based offerings which were being considered.
